  Sora- Age 14, a boy from Destiny Islands. When his home is taken by the heartless, he ends up in Traverse Town. There, he finds Donald and Goofy, and with them, he sets out ot travel the worlds, defeating heartless, and find his friends. Sora is the Master of the Keyblade, adn the main charactor in the game.
 
  Riku- Age 15, one of Sora's best friends, also from Destiny Islands. Riku competed against Sora constantly, and he conviced his friends to build a raft to see other worlds. But the heartless attack first, and Riku ends up with Maleficent. Riku wields the sword Souleater.
 
  Kairi- Age 14, a girl who appeared on Destiny Islands when she was young. Sora and Riku are her best friends, and she doesn't mind taht they often compete for her attention. Kairi does not wield a weapon.
 
   Donald Duck- The court wizard at Disney Castle. Fiesty and impatient, Donald and Goofy set out to find the Keyblade Master and the king. Donald wields a staff. From The Wise Little Hen (1934)
 
  Goofy- The pacifist captain of the royal knights of Disney Castle. Clumsy and easygoing, him and Donald go to find the Keyblade Master and the king. Goofy wields a shield. From Mickey's Revue (1932)
 
  Tarzan- A man raised by gorillas in Deep Jungle. Tarzan acts like a gorilla in every way, and has combat abilities to suit the jungle. He wields a spear. From Tarzan (1999)
 
  Aladdin- A streetrat from Agrabah. He has fallen in love wit hthe princess Jasmine, and wants to save her from Jafar. He uses a sword. From Aladdin (1992)
 
  Ariel- The youngest daughter of King Triton in Atlantica. She wants to go to a world outside of her own. She doesn't have a weapon. From The Little Mermaid (1989)
 
  Jack Skellington- The pumpkin king of Halloween Town. He is tired of the same old thing and wants to create things to scare people out of thier minds. He has no weapon. From Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
 
  Peter Pan- A young boy from Neverland. He never wants to grow up. Peter Pan preferes to fight alone, but he can tell Sora, Donald, and Goofy's battle is a good one, and helps them. He uses a dagger. From Peter Pan (1953)
 
  Beast- The beast followed the heartless to the Hollow Bastion after they destroyed his world. He just wants to get Belle back, and uses his incredible strength to do so. He has no weapon. From Beauty and the Beast (1991)
 
  Wakka- A boy from Destiny Islands. Acts like Tidus and Selphie's big brother. He uses a Blitzball to fight. From Final Fantasy X (2001)  
 
  Selphie- A young girl who lives on Destiny Islands. She is umpulsive and a romantic. Selphie uses nunchaku. From Final Fantasy VIII (1999)   
 
  Tidus- A young boy from Destiny Islands. He's cheerful and self-confident, and considers himself a champ at everthing. He uses a rod like a sword. From Final Fantasy X (2001)  
 
  Pluto- The king's dog from Disney Castle. He is no ordinary dog, and goes with Donald and Goofy to find the king and the Keyblade Master. First appearance: The Chain Gang (1930)
 
  The King- The ruler of Disney Castle. He leaves the castle to learn more of hte heartless. When he leaves he writes instructions for Donald and Goofy to find the Keyblade Master and then join him. His whereabouts are unknown. First appearance: Plane Crazy (1928)
 
  Minnie Mouse- The queen of Disney Castle. She rules in the king's absence, and she is greatly concerned for him. First appearance: Plane Crazy (1928)
 
  Daisy Duck- Donald's sweetheart and one of Queen Minnie's loyal servants in Disney Castle. She is calm and self-assuered. Fist appearance: Don Donald (1937)
 
  Chip and Dale- Flight engineers from Disney Castle. They help mantain the gummi ship, the craft for flight in between worlds. First appearance: Private Pluto (1943)
 
  Jiminy Cricket- Sent by Queen Minnie to go with Donald and Goofy on thier quest. He records the events that occur and the people they meet. From Pinocchio (1940)
  
  Huey, Dewey, & Lewey- Donald's nephews, they work an item shop in Traverse Town. First appearance: Donald's Nephews (1938)
 
  Cid- An Accessory Shop owner in Traverse Town. He is a higly skilled engineer, and an expert on gummi ships. From Final Fantasy VII (1997)
 
  Moogles- Adorable creatures who know all the secrets of synthesizing. They are extremly intelligent and all of them relocated to Traverse Town when the heartless attacked thier home world. First appearance: Final Fantasy III (1990)
 
  Leon- His true name being Squall Leonhart, he came to Traverse Town after he failed to save his world form the heartless. He uses the Gunblade. From Final Fantasy VIII (1999)
 
  Yuffie- The "greatest female ninja ever," she had to escape from her world when the heartless, and ended up in Traverse Town. She helps Leon and Aerith  search for the Keyblade. She wields a shuriken. From Final Fantasy VII (1997)
 
  Aerith- A flower girl who lost her home to the heartless at a young age, she now lives in Traverse Town. She is a strong willed and gentle person, and assists Leon and Yuffie to find the secret of the Keyblade. She is knwon as Aeris in Final Fantasy VII (1997)
 
  White Rabbit- The loyal servant of the Queen of Hearts in Wonderland. He is an inadvertant guide to many people coming to Wonderland. From Alice in Wonderland (1951) 
 
  Doorknob- A talking doorknob on a tiny door that is the true entrance to Wonderland. He is often sleeping. From Alice in Wonderland (1951)
  Queen of Hearts- The queen of Wonderland. She lives in a castle made of cards and has a tendency to order people to be beheaded. From Alice in Wonderland (1951)
 
  Cards- The Queen of Hearts guards. The Hearts have spears and the Spades have axes. From Alice in Wonderland (1951)
 
  Chesire Cat- A mysterious grinning cat. He speaks only in riddles and can appear and disappear at will. From Alice in Wonderland (1951)
 
  Alice- One of the Princesses of Heart, she is taken in Wonderland. Sora, Donald, and Goofy try to prove her to be innocent in the attempt to steal the Queen of Hearts heart. From Alice in Wonderland (1951)
 
  Hercules- Legendary hero of the Olympus Coliseum. He is the son of Zeus and Hera, and possesses god-like strength, he uses a sword. From Hercules (1997) 
 
  Philoctetes- Phil trained Hercules in the Olympus Coliseum. He runs the Coliseum and allows you to participate in the tournaments. From Hercules (1997)
 
  Hades- Ruler of the Underworld at Olympus Coliseum. He enlistend Cloud to kill Hercules. From Hercules (1997)
 
  Cloud- An enigmatic warrior hired by Hades. He works alone and says very little. Little is known about him. From Final Fantasy VII (1997)
 
  Clayton- A hunter who is Jane Porter's guide in the Deep Jungle. He follows Tarzan back to the apes to capture some. From Tarzan (1999)
 
  Jane Porter- A woman researching gorillas in the Deep Jungle. She just wants to study them in thier native habitiat. From Tarzan (1999)
 
  Sabor- A leopard feared by all in the Deep Jungle. From Tarzan (1999)
 
  Terk- Tarzan's close friend in the Deep Jungle. She is very curious about humans. From Tarzan (1999)
 
  Kerchak- Dominant male of the gorillas in Deep Jungle. He is afraid that Tarzan's contact with the humans will mean danger for the gorillas. From Tarzan (1999)

  Fairy Godmother- An elderly woman who lives in Traverse Town. She knows alot about summons. From Cinderella (1950)
 
  Simba- A lion who's heart could not be taken with his world. He is now a summon, and aids Sora in battle. From The Lion King (1994)
 
  Merlin- A wise wizard in Traverse Town. He helps Sora practice magic. From The Sword in the Stone (1963)
 
  Pinocchio- A wooden puppet made by Geppetto and brought to life by the Blue Fairy. He only wants to be a real boy. From Pinocchio (1940) 
 
  Maleficent- A sorceress who controls the heartless. Noone knows why she does this, she is responisble for the destruction of many worlds. From Sleeping Beauty (1959)
 
  Ansem- A researcher who discovered the heartless. Shortly afterwards he mysteriously disappeared. Sora and Co. are looking for the missing pages of his report on the heartless.
 
  Jasmine- One of the seven Princess's of Heart, she comes from Agrabah. She is hiding from Jafar. From Aladdin (1992)
 
  Jafar- The Grand Vizier of Agrabah. He betrayed the Sultan and took over the palace. From Aladdin (1992)
 
  Abu- A monkey who goes everywhere with Aladdin. From Aladdin (1992)
 
  Iago- Jafar's parrot and companion. From Aladdin (1992)
 
  Magic Carpet- A magical flying carpet. From Aladdin (1992)
